That’s exactly why we created Your Care Dementia Day Club in Hanham.

We offer six hours of friendship, laughter, meaningful activities and familiar faces in a calm, welcoming setting. While your loved one enjoys a day with purpose, you can get on with yours knowing they’re supported by a dementia-trained team.

Since 2014, Your Care has helped Bristol families find support that feels right. We also understand that every penny matters, which is why a full day at the club costs just £65, with all activities and support included.

With a maximum of only 10 guests each day, everyone is known, included and supported as an individual.

Just £65 for a Full 6-Hour Day

We believe good dementia care should be accessible for more families. That’s why a full day at the Your Care Dementia Day Centre is just £65 - including all activities, support, and a warm welcome from our experienced team.

You’re welcome to bring a packed lunch, or we can provide a two-course hot meal for £6. We’ve kept things simple and affordable, so you can plan ahead with confidence.

Spaces are limited to 10 each day, so everyone gets the attention they deserve.

Meet The Team

Angela

Activity Co-Ordinator - Lead

Angela has a strong background supporting people in care homes, where she focused on creating meaningful, engaging activities for people living with dementia.

She has a real passion for bringing moments of connection into the day, whether that’s through music, gentle exercise, creative sessions or simply finding something that helps someone feel involved and purposeful.

Angela is particularly skilled at adapting activities so they feel age-appropriate and enjoyable, never “childlike”, and always tailored to the individual. From music and reminiscence to hands-on creative sessions, she focuses on what people can do and what they enjoy.

She is a firm believer in helping people stay at home for as long as possible, making those years feel full, social and enjoyable.

At the day centre, Angela brings energy, creativity and a constant flow of ideas, helping to create a space where people feel comfortable, included and genuinely want to come back.

Ruth

Activity Co-Ordinator - Lead

Ruth has a strong background supporting people living with dementia, both professionally and through her own family's experience. Her personal journey alongside dementia has given her a deep understanding of the challenges families face and a real passion for helping people live well.

She brings an infectious energy to everything she does and is always looking for ways to create meaningful moments, build confidence and encourage people to get involved. Whether that's through conversation, activities or simply sharing a laugh, Ruth has a natural ability to make people feel welcome and included.

Ruth is passionate about providing person-centred support and helping people maintain a sense of purpose, independence and connection. She has also completed Namaste Care training, further developing her understanding of how to support people living with dementia in a compassionate and meaningful way.

She is a firm believer that a dementia diagnosis should never define what someone can still enjoy, and focuses on creating positive experiences that bring out the best in every individual.

At the day centre, Ruth brings enthusiasm, warmth and endless encouragement, helping to create a vibrant and welcoming environment where people can relax, connect and enjoy their day.
