Self-Employed | £20/hr

Since 2014, we’ve supported families across Bristol and South Gloucestershire with a more personal, relationship-led approach to home care. We focus on consistency, trust and providing support properly, not rushing through tasks.
We are currently looking for an experienced carer to join our evening team every Thursday from 6:00pm – 9:30pm, supporting people living with dementia in their own homes across Kingswood, Barrs Court and Oldland Common.
About the Role
This role involves supporting clients with their evening routines and helping them feel safe, settled and comfortable before bed.
Duties may include:
Supporting clients to get ready for bed
Toileting and pad changes
Personal care where required
Preparing drinks and evening snacks
Providing reassurance and companionship
Supporting clients with safe evening routines
You will be working independently in the community, travelling between a small number of regular clients.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Calm, patient and reliable
- Confident delivering personal care independently
- Experienced supporting people living with dementia
- Comfortable lone working in the community
- Able to build trust and consistency with regular clients
- Observant and able to respond appropriately to changes in presentation or behaviour
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year formal dementia care experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
