We are passionate about providing Personal Assistants (PA's), in the Bristol and surrounding area, that genuinely care about the clients we support.
We provide PA's who look after their clients as if they were their own family. We encourage our PA's in Bristol and the surrounding area to form friendships with the clients and interact with them - actively listening to them and encouraging them to chat and offer opinions.
Our visits are a minimum of 2 hours to ensure that our PA's have the time to understand our clients' needs and routines
We value all our staff and we take time to support all our PA's with additional training as required.

Your role is to enable our clients to remain living independently within their own homes and to listen to their needs and support them in a way in which you yourself would want to be supported. As each client is different, each role will be tailored to meet the needs of the client. These may include providing light domestic duties, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, socialising or helping with their hobbies.
The role is on a self-employed basis, therefore, all Personal Assistants (PA's) are accountable for their own actions.
Experience is not essential at Your Care. It is far more important that you are caring, friendly and compassionate with a real interest in helping others and that you share our beliefs and values. All our PA's have to successfully complete our in-house induction training and have ongoing training.
We are looking for assistants with great people skills, who can listen as well as interact with their clients and share our passion for providing friendship and support. Before we meet we like to have a discussion over the phone to try to get to know you a little. You will then be invited to come meet us face to face for an interview to see if you mirror our values. We need to get to know you as we match our assistants with our clients based on their hobbies and interests as well as their needs. We want you to be happy in your role and that means placing you with the right clients.
Once we have decided you are right to join our team we will then start the recruitment process. This involves two reference checks, one of which must be your last employer. You will be required to undergo an enhanced criminal records check. We also check your driving license, right to work in the UK and verify your address. Once all the checks have been completed you will be required to undertake our mandatory induction training before meeting our clients.
By ensuring that our staff are fully trained we are able to provide the highest quality of care possible. Everyone in our team is able to grow and develop into more senior roles if they wish. All our carers undertake the Care Certificate course lasting 12 weeks and consisting of a 3-day induction, workbook assignments, work-based supervision, and one to one mentoring. We ensure that all our staff receive ongoing training to keep up to date with industry standards.
